    • 1934 - The Huckleberry crop of the north shore region of Oneida Lake is next to a failure this year. Bernhard Delahunt of Cleveland, who harvested 15,000 quarts last year, estimates his yield on 410 acres at about 200 quarts. Severity of last winter and extreme dry weather are given for the greatly reduced production. [4]
