    • A few years ago, Dr. P.D. Bailey bought of Dr. W.G. Babcock of Cleveland, on a contract, his drug store and medical practice. The contract provided that Dr. Babcock should not sell drugs or practice medicine in the townships of Vienna and Constantia, and that if the contract should be violated he agreed to pay Dr. Bailey has brought suit against Dr. Babcock for $3,000, alleging that Dr. Babcock has visited socially in the families of his former patients and while doing so has practiced his profession. The case is being watched with much interest by the people of Cleveland and vicinity. [5]

    • 1934 - Oswego County Medical society held a special dinner meeting in Cleveland yesterday in honor of Dr. W.G. Babcock, Cleveland physician and dean of the profession in that county who has rounded out 50 years in medical practice. The dinner took place at Hotel Cleveland at 6 p.m., followed by a program of music and speaking. Dr. Babcock will soon celebrate his 79th birthday. [9]
